3D Animation
My animation went pretty well in my opinion; the editing and actual footage both seemed to go well. The overall product is over a minute long and has sound to it. The story to my animation seems quite clear and you can tell what is going on. There would be a few things that I would change like making some of the animation longer to give off more of a story or to make the shots look better. I would also add music that differed in pace in the animation, which I didn’t do.
I collected feedback for my animation by showing people my animation and then asking these questions;
What do you like about my animation?
What didn’t you like about my animation?
Any improvements?
From collecting this feedback people said that they liked the story being told and the animation itself. Some liked the way the lighting changed and the time-lapse footage in it. They also said that they liked the quality of my animation because it was in focus and sharp.
They disliked the setup and the background and said there could have been more action or people in the animation to make it more interesting. The music I had chosen they didn’t seem to like that much and wanted something better.
For improvements someone said that they would have liked to see more angles to my animation and some more movement within it. Also a few of the shots are blurred or the lighting is wrong which they said could have been re-filmed.

When I asked people for feeback I got a variety of responces towards my animation. A lot of people really liked my idea but said there could have been more content within my actual animation and there were a few people who said it was really good for someone who hasnt had to do anything like this before. As I was a beginner when starting my animation I had no idea what to expect or how to produce and make my animation effectively. There would have been many things i'd change now to help make the filming and editing processes easier. If I wasgiven more time I would try and put more detail into my sets and characters as well as add diffferent scenes and sets to give my animation more content and make it even better.

I asked my media teacher for her feedback on my animation and she gave me a few good responces and a few improvements I could make. She said she liked my storyline and the idea I had for my animation but thought that I could have improved it by thinking a bit bigger and adding a few more characters into it. She also said that I could have added more sounds into my animation like building sounds and clicks when the lights turned off. Overall she liked the way I put the footage together and the way I made the lego move.
Overall from the feedback I would say that people liked my animation but saw a few things that I could have done better. If I were to redo this I would try and add more scenes and better music. I would also try and make my animation longer to make it more like a short film rather than a little animation. I would do this to make my animation better quality and overall better to watch and to engage the audience more.
