For my animation I will be making a stop motion, it will be made out Lego. I will be building a house of out the Lego; it will be a time lapse in the beginning of me making the Lego model. After I have made it I will be taking it apart but this time it will be stop motion as I want the bricks to look like they are moving on their own.

The storyline of this animation will be a creator (me) has made a Lego house for the character (Lego man), after the time lapse of building the creator will try getting the Lego man to walk into the house, but he won’t move while the creator is around. The creator will then leave the room and the Lego man will wake up and go inside his house. After this the creator will come back in and the Lego man will be in the same spot he was in when the creator first left, thinking the Lego man hasn’t moved the creator will take apart the house and leave the blocks in a pile, which then they will move themselves to the box they came in. The purpose of my story is to inspire people to be more creative and have more imagination. Lego is very versatile and has got a lot of uses, although children would be more attracted to this, adults can still be inspired by my animation. The genre of my film will be comedy as I think the final edit of my film will be quite comical.

As for set up I will be doing it in front of a white wall or background with lights set on the area. There will be lights, one big light and one little light. As I am doing two shots, I will want them both to be around 30 seconds long, but the time-lapse might be shorter so I will make up the lost time in the stop motion part. When editing I wont be doing much just speeding up the time-lapse footage and putting together all of the still frames of the stop motion. As for music I want something to be quite upbeat and fast paced to compliment the animation. When putting my stop motion together, will aim for my frame rate to be around 18-24 per second.

The target audience for my short film will be other animators, young and old, experienced and inexperienced, and for anyone interested in animation. I have made my animation to fit this target audience because it is on a wide spectrum and it can meet the needs of many people and appeal to many people at one time.
